Dear Members of the Mineral Point Community,

After much consideration, my family and I have decided to relocate in order to be closer to family. Consequently, I am sharing that I will be stepping down from my role as City Administrator. It has been a privilege to serve the City of Mineral Point for the past 3 ½ years, and to be part of such a strong, engaged, and beautiful community.

Mineral Point is a special place, undeniably excellent in countless ways. What truly sets this city apart, however, is its people. During my time here, I have been inspired by the dedication of residents, business owners, city staff, and elected officials. Together, we have taken on many projects—some large and some small—but all of them are deeply important. I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made together. The sense of community and collaboration is remarkable, and it makes Mineral Point not just a wonderful place to work but an exceptional place to call home.

I am immensely grateful for my time in Mineral Point and the relationships built along the way. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Mayor Clark and previous Mayor Basting, the City Council, past and current, all City Staff, and all the community members with whom I have had the pleasure to engage. I have been deeply honored to have your trust and support throughout my tenure.

To ensure the city's continued momentum, I will be helping the City Council with an orderly transition over the summer. I am entirely confident that the City Council, Mayor Clark, and City Staff will keep working diligently on important projects and improving services for the community.
